Fitting Instructions

General guide for fitting a garage door handle:

1. Open the door.

2. Take a picture with your mobile phone of the back of the handle to help you remember where each part should be.

3. Remove the screws holding the handle in place - usually a flat head is required for this.

4. Go outside with the new handle and partially close the door.

5. Pull the old handle out and replace with the new handle.

6. Open the door fully again.

7. Refix the handle with the screws.

8. Check the latches are working buy closing the door from the inside. If not adjust them now.

9. From the outside close the door and lock and unlock it to be certain all is done properly.
