Q. Why is your landline phone number different to the one listed by Yell.com?
A. This is because Yell.com uses this the different number to count how many calls they are sending us.
Q. Why is my garage door opener only opening the door partially and not fully?
A. You need to re-set the limits / force settings on the opener. This is shown in the instruction manual you received with your opener. You may also need to check for obstructions in the tracks of your garage door.
Q. Why was there no instructions sent with the remote control I ordered?
A. There should have been and we are sorry they were not there. Email us and we will send them to you.
Q. I have ordered the wrong part for my garage door, what should I do?
A. Return the part and we will refund your money minus our re-stocking fee or send you the correct part. If the part you need is more expensive then you must re-order the correct part and we will refund your original purchase.
Q. I want to return an item within the 7 days for a refund. What do I do?
A. Send us an email informing us that you are returning the item. Then ship it back to us via recorded delivery. We will refund your purchase minus the postage costs within 7 days.
Q. The door I have ordered is too big for my opening, I got the measurements wrong. What can I do?
A. Depending on the type of door you bought we may be able to help you fit it in a different way than intended to make it fit, otherwise we do not accept returns on garage doors.
Q. The light on the control panel of my roller door is flashing red and yellow, what do I do?
A. You may need to reset the limits. If the roller door has a box drill out the rivets holding the cover on and look at the end of the shaft for the motor. Take a screwdriver and push in the yellow button then press the "Up" button on your controller until the door reaches the desired height. Release the Yellow button and the Up limit is set. Do the same for the down button, usually white next to the yellow button. Run the door up and down a full cycle. If it's still happening call us for advice.
Q. My canopy garage door has started to stiffen when moving up and down, what should I do?
A. Try spraying a good quality 3 in 1 oil onto the wheels and tracks. Do this every 3 months to ensure the door continues to move freely.
Q. The springs have snapped on my double garage door. What do I do?
A. Call us and we'll replace them under warranty if you got the door from us an the warranty is valid. If not, call us with the following information and we'll give you a quote to replace them: Your address, the make of door, size of door, colour of the spring / type of spring, how many coils are on the spring and the length of the spring. This information will help us discover the correct spring for your door so we can give an accurate quote.
Q. I want to buy a new garage door but I am not sure what will work in my garage? What should I do?
A. Give us a call and we will arrange for a free survey to be carried out and you can discuss the options with the surveyor. The surveyor is not a salesman, he will not attempt to pressure you into buying a particular door but will give you a quote for the door(s) you like and will work in your garage.
Q. I am an existing customer that has a friend who wants to buy a door from you. If I recommend you will you give me anything in return?
A. Yes, if the customer goes ahead with an order we will send you £30.00 in shopping vouchers as a "thank you" for your support.
