New Operators
Operator Repairs / Replacement
Maybe your remote has gone missing or it’s not working anymore, it’s generally a straightforward job to replace a battery which you can do yourself. However, what if your operator is still not working properly? You can look around the internet for the answer or give us a call, it’s usually easier to book a callout than to spend hours trying to get the operator working.

Roller Door Motors
Somfy Roller Door Motors
Due to their reliability we generally recommend installing the Somfy range of roller door motors as a direct replacement when the existing motor has failed.
If you have a roller door made by SWS, Cordula, Prestige, Countrywide, WM Shutters, Warm Protection and similar then we generally recommend replacing the motor with a Somfy motor when the existing one had failed.
The main reason for this is because they were usually fitted originally with these doors and therefore are robust enough to last for 10 years plus providing they have been used 2 or 3 times per day. They come with a 5 year warranty for your peace of mind.

Euro-Style Motors
When it comes to the Euro motor, they are much less-expensive than the Somfy motors above but they are still quite reliable, however they do tend to lose their 'limits' on occasion which means you will need to have them reset by us or another company. They are a bit harder to operate with and you need to check they are compatible with the control panels supplied with the door.
If they checkout then they will save you over £100 in purchasing cost, however the fitting cost may be a bit more due to the time they take to set up compared to the somfy alternative.
If your door was originally supplied with this type of motor then it should be replaced with the same type, however we do still recommend upgrading to the Somfy version.
