Book an AppointmentLower Cost Roller Doors
We also offer a range of lower cost roller garage doors however we only recommend them if your budget can’t buy a top quality door like the Seceuroglide above.
These doors look similar but they are not the same so therefore you will need to discuss them first, before making your decision.
They still have the safety-edge that is required by law in the UK but they do not have the same build quality. The Guides are also bigger so it means they may not fit in the older buildings of the south east of England. However there is a Compact version similar to the Seceuroglide Compact but we do not recommend them over the Seceuroglide.
As you can see from the images to the left, these doors have a different barrel and auto-locks made from cheap plastic which fix directly onto the top slat of the curtain. Also the “Box cover” needs strengtheners to prevent the slats from scraping along the box when it’s opening, which causes scratches on the slats. Also the End-Plates of the box are cast and not as strong as the Steel end-plates on the Seceuroglide. The locking straps end up snapping. The curtain generally has not been put together properly.
However we can install these doors for around £1500 (single door) depending on the size of the door so if you can live with the above issues, let us know and we can quote for one of these doors if you like.
